Young Adult Ministry
Inter-parish Adult Enrichment Committee: Plans and suggests activities to enrich the faith life of the adults of St. Mary and St. Joseph Parishes. Meets Monday evening approximately 5 times per year, August-May. Adult men and woman of all ages welcome.

Faith Sharing Group Leaders: Lead small group (6-10 adults) faith discussions during Fall and Lenten season for approximately 6 weeks. Sessions may be held in leader’s home or parish center. Day and time of sessions are negotiable. Training of leaders and discussion material will be provided.

Young Adult Planning Committee: Open to folks in their 20’s and 30’s, single or married. Plan social, service, and spiritual activities to meet the needs of young adults.

Lawrence Prayer Partners: Adult parishioners/families are matched with Catholic Lawrence University students for prayer, friendship, and sharing. Parishioners send e-mails, postcards, etc. at least 3 times per school year. Opportunities for meeting in person are provided. Matches occur in late September.

Prayer Shawl: Knitters and/or crocheters make shawls that are distributed to those in need of support and comfort. New members are always welcome (meetings are the 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of the month). Pattern handouts for shawls available.
