Parish Community Events

St. Mary & St. Joseph Interparish Mass & Picnic: Assistance with set up, serving and clean up. Usually scheduled in the Summer. Committee meets in spring. All parishioners welcome.

Coffee, Donuts & Rolls: Assist in serving coffee and rolls after 8 and 9:30 AM Masses September through May. All families and individuals welcome. Volunteers will be scheduled to serve once or twice a year.

Souper Soup Supper: Assist with setup, serving the food, and clean up in the Community Room one Saturday in January.  Adults and children welcome.

Parish Luncheons/Potlucks: Open to ideas and to help organize, set-up and or clean up at several simple gatherings throughout the year.  

Bake Cookies/Bars: Provide baked goods for receptions and various events throughout the year as needed. All parishioners welcome.

Funeral Luncheon Servers: Men and women assist with set up, serving and clean up for luncheons in our Community Room from 10 am-2:30 pm.

Pancake Breakfast: Prepare on Saturday; serve, and/or clean-up on one Sunday in the Fall.  All parishioners welcome.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration: Sell tickets after Mass; plan activities and welcome guest at the event.  All parishioners welcome.

Mardi Gras Breakfast: Prepare on Saturday; serve and/or clean up after the annual breakfast on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday.  All parishioners welcome.

Holy Thursday Parish Potluck: All families and adults welcome to attend and assist in setup, serving and clean up of this spiritual event commemorating the Lord’s Last Supper.

Ice Cream Social: Assist in preparing or serving this Summer Social. All parish families welcome.

Bake/Craft Sale: Help at sale to set up, sell, and/or clean up. Second weekend in December and Palm Sunday weekend.

Live Nativity: Outdoor Live Nativity Scene one Thursday evening in December. Parishioners of all ages needed to reenact the manger scene. A unique experience for participants.

Advent and Lenten Fair: Manage and maintain the table with Advent and Lenten resources during and after Masses 2 weekend each liturgical season.

Palm Braiding: Share your talents of Palm Braiding with others by creating personal and unique designs for parish families on Palm Sunday weekend.  

On call volunteer: Assist with various tasks/events as needed.

Night of Fun and Chance: Plan, organize, and help with the parish annual fundraiser.
