ALPHA

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven week.

Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome. Click the link below for our latest flyer with session times and details.

 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Inter-parish Adult Education Committee: Men and women of all ages plan and suggests activities to enrich the faith life of the adults of St. Mary and St. Joseph Parishes. Meets second Monday evening of August, October, January, March, and May; approximately 5 times per year.

Cooks & Bakers: We need you! There are lots of opportunities to make soups, breads, desserts and more for our adult education programs and retreats.

Kitchen Help: Adults and teens willing to help set up, serve, and clean up for a meal at one of our programs or retreats. If you like being in the kitchen but not the cooking part, this is for you!

Young Adult Planning Committee: Open to folks in their 20’s and 30’s, single or married. Plan social, service, and spiritual activities to meet the needs of young adults.

Prayer Shawl Ministry: Knit and/or crochet shawls to distribute to those in need of support and comfort. Meets 1st and 3rd Tuesday afternoons. Patterns available.
