- MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support): Provides support and companionship through the baby and toddler years. Meetings first and third Friday mornings September through May. Mothers and their young children welcome.
- Elizabeth Ministry
- Core Committee: Organizes the events and volunteers involved in Elizabeth Ministry. Includes organizing visits, gifts, resources, meals, prayer support, blessing rituals, sewing, crafts, and fundraising. Anyone interested in sharing their ideas and helping to organize are encouraged to sign up
- Visitors: Volunteers visit women of our parish during special times of motherhood including pregnancy, birth, infertility, miscarriage, and infant loss. Gift and resource kits are presented on behalf of St. Mary to the woman being visited. Visitors are simply asked to share their presence and experiences in the hope they can support, encourage, console, and at times bring healing to other women.
- Prayer Chain: Parishioners pray for women facing motherhood crisis situations on an as needed basis. Adult parishioners welcome.
- Preparation and Delivery of Meals: Volunteers prepare and deliver meals to families facing crisis situations (e.g. moms on bedrest, etc.)
- Sewing/Crafting: Volunteers sew, knit, crochet baby items or craft items on an as needed basis.
- Babysitting: Volunteers supervise children on church premises while mothers attend meetings, etc. Volunteers are also needed to babysit for families facing a crisis situation (mom on bedrest, newborn in intensive care, etc.)
- Dad Support: Men who have experienced loss of a child offer support to other men in our parish who have experienced a similar loss.
- Card Making-Calligraphy/Stamping/Computers: Volunteers make various cards to be included in our gift and resource kits. Cards includes: baptism, sympathy and prayer. Parishioners with calligraphy/stamping skills are needed as well as those willing to design things on their computer.
- Preparation of Gift/Resource Kits: Meets on occasional weekday mornings to assemble gift/resource kits for our visitors to distribute. Playroom/babysitter available for your children while you help. Currently meeting the second Wednesday of every month from 9-11 AM. Other dates and times as needed, depending on your schedule/availability.
- Blessing Ceremonies: All parishioners are invited to be part of our monthly blessing ceremonies by praying together and extending a blessing as we bless pregnancies and newborns not yet baptized. The blessings are held one Sunday morning a month.
