Join the Christmas Eve Tradition

Jump to sign up form

On Christmas Eve each year it has become a beautiful tradition for the youth of our parish family to re-enact the nativity scene. This tradition takes place during the 4:00 Mass on Christmas Eve. This Nativity is open to any child ages 3-10. If your child would like to participate, please fill out the form below no later than December 15 th.

The names of all 3rd graders who have returned a form will be randomly picked from to choose Mary, Joseph, and the Archangel. This drawing will take place December 16 th . You will be notified if your child’s name is drawn. If your child’s name is not picked to re-enact one of these roles, I still encourage your child to participate in this beautiful story!

A practice will be held on Sunday, December 22 nd , at 11:00 AM in church. This will take place right after the 9:45 Mass. More instructions for Christmas Eve will be provided at this practice. The parish will provide all costumes and parts for each child!

On Christmas Eve, please meet in the St. Anne Room by 3:30pm. Parents should hold on to your child’s coat and save a place for them in your pew. Please note a change: due to moving toward a more hospitable environment, we will not be reserving pews for families this year. This is more welcoming to people who are visiting us for Mass. Please plan to arrive early to get a spot in church.

Thank you for allowing your child(ren) to participate in the Christmas Eve Nativity at St. Mary. If you have questions, please contact Betsy at the parish office:
