DIRECTIONS:
From Hwy 41 – Exit at Prospect; Go east toward the city of Appleton. The cemetery is about a half-mile from Hwy 41 on the right. If you get to Xavier High School, you have gone too far.

FEATURES:
St Mary Parish Cemetery covers about twelve acres of land along the Fox River. Burial lots are divided into four sections purchased and developed at different periods of its history. Columbarium for inurnment of cremains was installed in 1999. Single and double niches are available in the columbarium for holding the ashes of loved ones. The cemetery also has a prayer chapel remodeled in 1999 where a sculpture of the risen Christ stands in the foreground of a lovely view of the Fox River.

HISTORY:
St. Mary Cemetery had its beginning in 1865 when Fr. Louis Dael, acquired a 2.3 acre strip of land 2 miles west of Appleton, between the banks of the Fox River and Carver Road – now known as Prospect Avenue.
