- Receptionists: Commit one-half day (9 AM-12:30 PM or 12:30-4 PM) every or every other week or as often as possible to answer the telephone, greet people, and do light office duties in the parish office. All adult parishioners welcome. Substitute receptionists are also needed. Time commitment dependent on need and availability.
- General Office Volunteer: Assist with stuffing envelopes, collate pamphlets and mailings on an as needed basis in the parish office. Adult parishioners welcome.
- Abacists (Sunday Collection Counters): Team of four adult parishioners count the collection every Sunday morning from 9 AM to Noon on a rotating basis with five or more teams. Accuracy and an ability to follow procedures and instructions necessary. Adult parishioners welcome.
Stewardship Committee: Assists in organizing and carrying out Financial and Time/Talent Stewardship Fair for 1999-2000 Fall and Spring. All parishioners welcome. Meets as needed.
- Stewardship Telephone Follow-up: Assists in contacting parishioners who have not responded to their Financial Stewardship commitment one evening in November. Adult parishioners welcome.
- St. Mary Cemetery Veterans Group: U.S. Armed Services Veterans of St. Mary Parish who gather with other parish veterans to help parishioners remember and to place flags on veterans’ graves prior to Memorial Day, etc. All veterans of St. Mary Parish welcome.
- Finance Council: Assists the Pastor in the administration of parish assets (i.e. finances, buildings and grounds). Oversees the budget process and preparation of the annual financial report to the parish community. Meets monthly. Adult parishioners with knowledge and experience in finance, insurance, law, buildings and grounds are welcome.
- Facilities Management Committee: The committee’s main purpose is to assist with the administration and maintenance of parish facilities. They act in an advisory capacity, making recommendations to the Pastor and Finance Council regarding maintenance, upkeep and capital improvements to all parish facilities. The committee meets monthly. In addition, volunteers are needed for specific projects, such as painting, trimming hedges, etc.
