The Fifth Day of our Novena to the Holy Spirit

Compelled by the Spirit, I (Paul) am going to Jerusalem. What will happen to me there I do not know…if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear witness to the Gospel of God’s grace.

PRAYER

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful family at St. Mary Parish and kindle in us the fire of your love. Enflame our hearts with a reverence for You, and guide us in discerning what it is You desire us to do in your Name. Accompany us on our Synodal Path. Give us Your Precious Gift of Counsel, which will help us to discern how the Lord wants us to proclaim His Gospel. Enlighten our hearts and direct our thoughts, words, and actions so that we may image Jesus more and more in our relationships with one another. In the Holy Spirit’s Power, Amen.
